Ladies Behind The Lens follows the journey of five determined women delving into the world of adventure filmmaking for the first time. Supported by experienced mentors through a series of workshops and classic New Zealand backcountry missions, it pulls back the curtain for a candid, behind-the-scenes view of how they navigate both triumphs and setbacks; grappling with technical challenges, equipment malfunctions, weather constraints and logistical nightmares. With each woman bringing a unique perspective to the table - from new motherhood to returning to the outdoors post-injury - Ladies Behind The Lens showcases the welcoming community that lies outside comfort zones.
